"A recent revamp has given this Warkworth institution a handsome new look. The food is great and I’m particularly fond of their Chicken Jalfrezi, which is an absolute flavor bomb, packing just the right amount of spicy kick and juicy chicken to make it easily the best thing I’ve eaten all week."

"Have been wanting to try Mountain Masala for awhile now. Decided to tonight for our anniversary. Wasn’t at all disappointed. The Onion baji was delicious. Mango chicken outstanding and butter beef beautiful. Totally recommend these guys. We will be back Lisa Elley"

"Wow we were blown away with the platter for 2, great size and so tasty! So big, had our curries for next days dinner. They were beautiful, butter chicken and lamb saagwala, would highly recommend and a bonus to get it home delivered! We will definitely be back"

"Very lovely staff, very lovey food and very lovely atmosphere, especially by the riverside, I would recommend this place can't wait to go back Would also like to add that the chefs dishes are amongst the most complex and flavorful I have tasted in all my years in nz, I think he might be a wizard!"

"Excellent! The restaurant has been completely refurbished. They have put in a huge picture window giving you a great view of the Mahurangi River. The new chairs are very comfortable. They are fully licensed for cocktails, beer and wine. The food is perfectly cooked and spiced to your liking. The portions are very ample. Service is excellent and the food comes out with perfect timing. Everyone is smiling and friendly. An excellent experience!"
